SendNow Dynamic Watermark

A watermark that names the person reading it

A static "CONFIDENTIAL" stamp deters nobody. A watermark carrying the reader's own email address changes their behaviour — because now a leak points back at them.

The dynamic watermark is stamped into the canvas at view time. Any screenshot or phone photo names its source indelibly.

Static watermarks don't stop leaks

The usual approach is to burn a watermark into the file before sending it. Two problems follow immediately. First, it's the same mark for everyone. When a document surfaces where it shouldn't, it tells you the file leaked but not who leaked it — which is the only fact worth knowing. Second, you now maintain one file per recipient. Send a deck to twelve investors and you're exporting twelve PDFs and tracking which went where.

How a dynamic watermark works

The watermark is not in the file. It's drawn over the document as each person views it, generated from their identity at the moment they open it.

Personalised to the viewer

Each reader sees their own email address across the pages. Twelve investors, twelve different watermarks, one file.

Nothing is baked in

Your original file is untouched. No per-recipient exports, no version sprawl, no re-uploading when the list changes.

Survives the screenshot

Because the mark is rendered over the content rather than beside it, a screenshot or a phone photo carries the watermark with it.

You choose the treatment

Tiled across the page or positioned in one corner, with control over opacity and rotation so it identifies the reader without making the document unreadable.

Works on every file type

PDF, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, video and images — the overlay sits above whichever viewer is rendering the file.

When it earns its place

Fundraising — a deck going to twenty investors, where a forwarded copy has consequences
M&A and diligence — financials shared with multiple bidders
Pre-release material — pricing, roadmaps, unannounced products
Client deliverables — reports you're paid for and would rather not see redistributed
Board packs — where the readership is small enough that naming the leak actually matters
