Discourage screenshots on your link
Makes casual screenshotting harder on desktop browsers. It's a deterrent, not a guarantee — read "Good to know" below before relying on it alone.

Open your link's settings
Go to your document, then click Create Link (or edit an existing link).

Turn on "Screenshot Blocker"
In the Access Control section, flip the switch.

There's nothing else to configure — it applies to the whole document on this link.

Save your link
Click Create Link (or Save) at the bottom of the page like normal.
Good to know — read this first
- No web app can truly block a screenshot — on iOS and Android, screenshotting is a native device feature with no browser-level workaround. This makes it harder on desktop browsers only.
- For real protection, turn on Dynamic Watermark alongside this — it stamps the viewer's name and email onto every page, so a captured copy is still traceable back to them.
